Top 5 Rappers worth checking out 2013

Top 5 Rappers worth checking out 2013

(5) Jarren Benton (Funk Volume Records)
I would describe Jarren as a fast & funny lyricist since his songs just contains funny things, as in there's no "real" emotions, which i think he knows so he might have a song about his life in his debut album My Grandmas Basement which is set to be released in 2013.
I would put Jarren in top 1-3 but i want to see some emotions from him so until then he's at five.

                                              ((Jarren Benton performs "Skitzo"))

(4) Hopsin (Funk Volume Records)
Hopsin is known for sitting in his basement making records, his last album Raw was amazing, i cant remember how many times i bumped it when i was going to taco bell, but however since his next album Knock Madness seems to be like Dr'Dre's Detox, as in no one knows if it will be released or not, ((Hopsin's been working on it since the release of Raw which is 2010...uhm its 2013 now.))
And Hopsin's punchlines seems to be whack nowdays, but who knows everyone got bad days, but i can say that i'm looking forward to his album, and i myself will spend 10 dollars on it, which i could buy a taco for, so it better be worth it.

((Hopsin performs "Hop Madness" which is the first single from Knock Madness.))

(3) French Montana (Bad Boy Records)
French Montana is a "upcoming" rapper from New York, he is signed to Diddy's Bad boy label, which is a Interscope inprint.
I would describe French's punchlines as "chill" and "calmed", trust me his songs are ten times better when you are high, BUT what French lacks is his solo-songs, since he always got collabs with other artists, yes almost always however i hope he puts alot of energy in his debut album "Excuse my french" which is set to be released 21st of may 2013.

((French Montana performs "Ocho Sinco" with MGK,Diddy,Los,Red cafĂ©.))

(2) Snak The Ripper (Camobear Records)
Snak is a very intresting person, he's been mixing emotions and raw material in his past songs, with him and Stompdown Killaz i think that 2013 is going to be a good year for Snak, while i'm writing this Snak's in europe on a month touring with his girlfriend and Soul singer Jaclyn Gee, place 2 belongs to Snak, no doubt.

((Snak The Ripper performs "Over You" with Jaclyn Gee.))

(1) Madchild (Suburban Noize Records)
And here we got another Canadian, however Madchild really deserves place 1 in this list, You've probably heard of Swollen Members, and Madchild is one of the front figures there together with Prevail & Rob The Viking, I think Machild is going to drop bombs this year and i'm really looking forward to his new songs, and this guy he fucking cares about his fans, which is a plus in my eyes.

                                               ((Madchild performs "Wanted"))
